Donca Vianu

Donca Vianu is recognized in the Netherlands and Germany as a highly qualified therapist in psychedelic experiences, in which she was a pioneer for many years. She is a medical psychiatrist and psychotherapist with over 40 years of professional experience in different countries and cultures, 30 of which were in the Netherlands. She worked in public mental health institutions and in a private clinic.

As a psychotherapist, she is trained in various methods, with an emphasis on hypnotherapy for complex PTSD and intergenerational transmission of trauma, cognitive-behavioral therapy, gender and relationship issues, and transcultural aspects of mental health problems.

A lifelong interest in spirituality led her to study comparative religions and Buddhist psychology with Thich Nhat Hanh, Zen master and poet. Her passion for art was reflected in training in theatre (De Kleine Academie, Brussels), dance and somatic movement (School for New Dance Development, Amsterdam), and the study of the scientific basis of creativity (OU, UK).

Donca Vianu has a rich toolbox of psychological tools with which she helps people, with the most diverse challenges and complaints, to recover and grow.
