Francisco Ladeira

Francisco Ladeira is an Art Therapist/Psychotherapist and a Member of the Portuguese Society of Art Therapy since 2021. He completed the Advanced Course in Art Therapy at SPAT, as well as the 3-year Specialization in Art Psychotherapy, and is currently a Trainer.

He holds a degree in Communication Design from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon and lived in the Netherlands, where he received postgraduate training at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences. Between 2023 and 2025, he developed an institutional Art Therapy intervention in Lisbon, at the Community Action Group IPSS, guiding a group of adult users with mental illness in psychosocial rehabilitation.

In her work as a psychotherapist, she works with adults, children, and adolescents of various nationalities. Occasionally, she leads thematic art therapy workshops for groups, and in 2025, as a member of the Artefactus Collective, she co-facilitated the first art therapy retreat in Portugal.
