NUTRITIONIST
Licensed nutritionist in Nutritional Sciences, currently completing a Master's degree in Neuroscience (FMUL).
She holds a postgraduate degree in Adult Mental Health (PGDip), postgraduate training in Gut Microbiota (NOVA Medical School), and certification in Innovative Approaches to the Treatment of Obesity and Binge Eating Disorder (USP (AMBULIM), Brazil).
É Technician Restricted Profile Anthropometrist level 1 (International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropometry), and also has international training as a Qualified Instructor (USA) in Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT-QI) / Mindful Eating.
She began her clinical practice at the Lisbon Psychiatric Hospital Center, working with nutritional intervention in the area of mental health in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the study of nutrition in mental health and eating behavior, recognizing the... the body , the border-place of sensory experience.
She worked as a Researcher at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon (FMUL) until 2025, developing projects in the areas of nutrition, mental health, science communication and public health, and was involved in the development of several Municipal Health Strategies.
Currently, she collaborates with the Neuroscience Center at CUF Descobertas Hospital and is a member of the Eating Disorders Unit at the PIN Clinical Center.
With a deep interest in the synergy between nutrition and mental processes and states of consciousness, it is guided by an integrative and ecological approach, rooted in a humanistic perspective that recognizes and values the uniqueness of each person.
