Holding a degree in Clinical and Health Psychology with over 20 years of clinical experience, he has been guided from a very early age by an interest in altered states of consciousness, as well as the value of different cosmologies from mystical traditions for promoting psychological, existential, community, and spiritual well-being.
She holds a Master's degree in Helping Relationships from ISPA, where she coordinates the advanced training course in Transpersonal Development, currently in its 14th edition. She is a member of the OPP (Order of Portuguese Psychologists) with an Advanced Specialization in Psychotherapy and certified training in Transpersonal Psychotherapy, Existential Psychotherapy, Focusing-Oriented Therapy, and EMDR.
In 2020, she joined the neuropsychiatry team at the Champalimaud Foundation as one of the lead psychotherapists in the Compass clinical trial, concerning the efficacy and safety of psilocybin in patients with treatment-resistant depression, during which time she trained in MDMA-Assisted Therapy at MAPS and Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy at Compass.
He remains a strong advocate for holistic, humanistic therapeutic approaches that honor the inherent wisdom of each person.
