Patricia Arantes
CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST | GESTALT PSYCHOTHERAPIST
Holds a degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology (2005) from ULHT and is a full member of the OPP (no. 12676) with Advanced Specializations in Health Psychology and Psychotherapy. Her clinical work is based on the principles of Gestalt Psychotherapy (SLEPG, Lisbon and Madrid, 2007) and Phenomenology, although over the years she has integrated other approaches and techniques of Psychology, namely systemic and transgenerational, with the aim of making her clinical practice richer and, above all, more adapted to the unique needs and realities of each person.
She has training in Couple Therapy and Therapy in Non-Monogamous Relationships, Grief Processes, among others. In recent years she has dedicated herself to training in the area of Intervention with the LGBTQIA+ population and their families.
She works primarily with adults in individual, couples, and non-monogamous relationship settings.
Throughout her professional life, she has also had experience in leading support groups and developing personal skills, organizing health education sessions, and creating workshops on romantic relationships. She is a trainer for APG-Associação Portuguesa de Gestalt (Portuguese Gestalt Association).
She considers her work as a psychotherapist a true privilege, firmly believes in continuous learning, and is currently beginning her EMDR training, which she expects to complete in 2026.
