Sara Dehanov

Medical psychiatrist with international clinical experience, specializing in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and dual pathology (addictive behaviors and dependencies associated with mental illness). Throughout her career, she has worked in various hospital and community settings in Portugal and Denmark, including the Psykiatrisk Center Amager in Copenhagen and the Regionspsykiatrien Gødstrup, also in Denmark, where she was part of specialized teams in ADHD, psychosis, and dual pathology. In Portugal, she also worked on a substance abuse treatment team in Lisbon and on a community team providing general psychiatry consultations at the Prof. Dr. Fernando Fonseca Hospital.

She completed her Psychiatry Internship at the Mental Health Department of the Professor Doctor Fernando Fonseca Hospital and also holds a postgraduate degree in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy. She is the author of several scientific publications in international journals in the areas of addictions, psychopharmacology, trauma, and behavioral disorders, maintaining a clinical practice centered on an integrated approach, based on scientific evidence and personalized to the needs of each individual.
