Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medicine of Lisbon (2000). Specialist in Psychiatry from the Psychiatry and Mental Health Service of the Santa Maria Hospital (2010). Was head of the Psychiatry Service at the Armed Forces Hospital between 2014 and 2020.

Currently, since 2020, she is the director of the Clinical Department at UTITA (Intensive Treatment Unit for Drug Addiction and Alcoholism).

He is interested in the core and classic clinical areas of adult psychiatry, namely anxiety, panic, depression, insomnia and sleep disorders. , obsessive-compulsive disorder, addictive disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and other psychoses, and dementias.
